Higher Refunds Issued as 2014 Filing Season Continues
Yesterday, the IRS released some statistics for this year's filing season, showing that 15% more refunds have been issued so far this year as compared to the 2013 filing season.Â
Additionally, the IRS also released statistics showing that the average federal refund totaled $3,211, which is an increase of $190 from the 2013 filing season.Â
The statisics released yesterday by the IRS covered the 2014 filing season through Februrary 14th.Â
